Today is my first day gown shopping! Updated!!!
I'm excited - but not as excited as I feel I should be! I'm going just to get an idea of what styles look good and bad on me. I'm also gonna try and sneak in a camera  I'm bringing my two strapless bras - one regular one that goes down to your tummy - and wearing my lovley boy shorts so no one scoped out my rumpus 
Any other ideas or tips??

Ooooh! Have a blast! Bring a bottle of water...and an open mind. Things that you thought would look fabulous might not look as good as you imagined. I went in thinking ivory was *the* color for me...only to find that white looked WAY better.

The first time I went shopping I was so nervous. I don't know why. But once I tried on the first dress, I got all excited

YESSSSS HAIR STUFF!!!!!! Just put that in my bag!
I also brough a "must wear" piece of Jewlery! Last Christmas, my FI bought me pearls to wear on my wedding day - he knew how much I loved pearls but didn't own any real ones  He's such a cutie!

Try on everything even if you think you'll hate it. My mom insisted that I try on this one dress and I said ok just to appease her. Well, that was the dress that I bought.

I would bring the necklace but maybe not wear it - with putting all the dresses over your head and the crinolines and everything they might get caught and you wouldn't want to break it - I would bring it and put it on while you have the dress on so you can see then take it right off

Ok I have hair, camera, undergarments, jewlery and a fresh manicure and pedicure

my only advice would be to try on all types. As someone posted above, the one you think will look terrible will probably end up being the one.

Oh have so much fun!!! I loved trying on dresses until I got too tired and tehn made my sister try on dresses for me. Then only thing that helped me was I wrote everything down so taht I coud keep track..I took lots of breaks to clear my head ,,ate alot too..HAVE FUN!! Let us know how you make out!!!
