I'm sorry I am not to familiar wtih the "halls" of that area, but you may want to check the Suffolk County Business to Business Section, and try to contact any American Legion Halls, Elks Lodge, Sons of Italy, Knights of Columbus, etc. halls. Some allow you to bring in your own food, but sometimes you have to buy the liquor through the facility.
I hope this helps!

Contact the Elks Club in Smithtown-you can find them by calling information. I had my daughter's sweet 16 party there and they allow you to bring in everything with your caterer.I brought in one of my DJ's as well as a private caterer friend of mine. Also check out The Neighborhood House in St James (also find from telephone information). Cathy's suggestion was excellent. Check the policy regarding liquor. Hope this was of help for you. STAN WIEST A.STAN WIEST MUSIC www.stanwiest.com

Ditto to Stan's suggestion of the Neighbohood House in Setauket. Lovely setting on the pond across from the Frank Melville Park @ the old Post Office. Quiet, secluded, charming venue (old inn atmosphere) with two large rooms and front covered porch. The Three Village Garden Club (behind Caroline Church adjacent to the Park) also would be perfect and there's the option of the clubhouse at the Port Jeff Country Club.
