Temple Weddings on LI

Hi all. I've searched a few threads to find out about some of the more popular temples for weddings in L.I. Anyone have any idea what price range i should expect for a nice temple wedding with excellent food on a sunday afternoon in august?

Depends on the temple but i would say anywhere between 70-90. How many people are you having?

Oceanside Jewish Center and East Meadow Jewish center are nice They are the same caterer. Temple Hillel is also very nice

thanks. any idea what temple israel in lawrence may go for? i get the impression its a little more expensive from what i've read. again, its a sunday afternoon.

I am not sure what they go for but they put on an amazing affair my uncle got married there last nov and it was expensive but it was a sat night

i went to a wedding at a temple in dix hills last year i think it is called temple beth torah...i can check for you though if you are interested. the wedding was BEAUTIFUL...the cocktail room and reception room were BEAUTIFUL and the food was great...no complaints at all!

I got married at Temple B'nai Sholom in Rockville Center in February and I highly recommend them. The caterer is great, the place is beautiful and from what I heard the food was amazing.

I'm getting married at East Meadow Jewish Center on 6/27/04. I also looked at Oceanside, Jericho, Sephardic Temple of Cederhurst, Shelter Rock and Hewlett-East Rockaway, so FM me if you want any info!

I just went through the searching for a temple myself - temple hillel in lawrence is beautiful - expensive though -see what she'll charge for a sunday wedding. my friend is metphan and her temple bnai shalom in rockville center is a really great buy and the food was terrific - they are in the midst of redecorating the inside - new carpet,wallpaper, lights - he'll show you the renovations - it'll be beautiful i'm sure. i also really like Jericho Jewish Center - they are conservative, but you won't have a problem with a sunday wedding - i would call them.
