Never honeymooned but vacationed there twice. I stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada and Iberostar Bavarro. I definitely recommend the Iberostar Bavarro more esp. for a honeymoon. Bavarro Beach in Punta Cana had nicer beaches and is a newer resort. The resorts are very pretty.
