I think Bob was trying to help
I believe Bob was trying to help and seems to have a little knowledge about catering halls. He offered some savings information for the brides on here and he sort of was knocked down by people who are paying more. I think his message had some really good information. I don't believe he offended anyone. I'm sure other brides on here will take his information and check it out. That's why were here right? Anyway, if you read the above messages, I think he got a little bit of a smack for offering his opinion which looked okay with me and non-offensive. Just my opinion. By the way Bob, I agree with you. I think you can get good prices if you talk with the hall and work it out together. My sister ordered the bridesmaids dresses from them when she got married a year and a half ago. They made us wait a long time before we could look at dresses( even with an appointment.) It was a hassle to get a fabric sample from them but, the dresses came in plenty of time before the wedding. They tried to order a dress that was two sizes too large for me (I know the dresses run small but give me a break I'm not that stupid). I had to insist on them ordering the size I wanted. Luckily I was right, otherwise the alterations necessary would have been like making a new dress. I think they did that to try to get more money by making it a plus size dress.I ended up having my dress altered elsewhere because they wanted to do the first fitting the week of the wedding.
