What do you wear to work?

for those in corporate america...

are you in suits? business casual? casual casual?

I was in suits / business dress when I worked in NY. But when I came out here, my company was very casual (as a lot are in SF) - they called it business casual but there were plenty of jeans around.

Now I'm interviewing at one company that is in business dress every day but Friday! I'd need a whole new wardrobe!

just curious what you all wear...

Business Suits - everyday but Fridays (Fridays is business casual)!!! I hate wearing suits......

I used to dress up and then I went to casual wear.

We are not officially business casual but most people dress one notch below business formal.

In the winter I wear (almost exclusively) dark slacks, dress shoes and a turleneck of some sort. The summer/spring is always a nightmare b/c I never know what to wear.

Right now Im wearing a button down shirt, black slacks and dress shoes.

I wear casual, really casual. I wear a jeans jacket with a tank under it and capris. In the winter sweaters, or shirts with pants.

I wear skirts with little blouses

Not suits here.

For the summer: summer dresses, linen skirts, dresses, sandal, open toe, no flip flops, capris, no shorts, some fridays I might wear a little mini skirt.

I work in marketing promotions company of 3 people (including me) and a yorkie! so I wear business casual (slacks with nice top) for when I go to meetings and jeans and t-shirts w/ sandals when I have no meetings.

business casual...pants, skirts, sweater sets etc...except when we have meetings, events and/or games. (I work in the sports industry).

Fridays are casual days and we can wear jeans, sneakers, etc.

I think we're supposed to be business casual, but we are usually casual casual. Jeans and shirts and sneakers, etc.

Scoop - I'm jealous - I would LOVE to work in the sports industry!

We can only wear jeans & sneakers if other areas of the bank is closed or there is bad weather.

Business Casual. - although it really varies by person. I wear suits when I have important meetings but otherwise, skirts, dress pants, sweater sets, shirts, etc.

we're business casual, but ppl use that term way too loosely around here! No sneakers and jeans are allowed, and you'd be surprised who tries to get away with it.

I wear slacks with sweaters usually. In the summer cropped pants, dress shirts and open toe sandals.

I have business suits and dresses in my closet but they just collect dust now!

I wear business suits every day and business casual on Fridays. During the summer, we have business casual everyday.

I would have to say our group is casual casual. Its IT so some people take it to the extreme. Then again maybe its extreme to me but I don't think tank tops and flip flops are appropriate to wear to work. Of course the men do not complain.

I am jealous of all of you - business casual and less!!!! I am in IT and I think I am the only IT department in the world that dresses in business suit. My female dept. members (and I did at one point and every now and then still do) lug around computers and do wiring under desks in heels and skirts.

dka-I thought at least you were with me but you get the summers off. Now I am really jealous!

Anything goes here, but I just feel funny in jeans at work still! I wear suits most days and business casual the rest. SOMETIMES I will wear jeans on Fridays but I usually plan to do something cleaning related if I do....

I unfortunately am required to dress in business casual for work, and I ruin most of my clothes with paint, papier mache, and various other kindergarten substances.

Edited to add that even on dress down day we wear "slacks" (as my principal calls them ) and dress shoes with our school golf shirts. No jeans, no sneakers, and we look rediculous.

I work in the engineering field, so anything goes.

If we have a meeting with a client, I will wear a suit. If I am in the office just doing work in my cubicle, I wear casual (khakis and a shirt with shoes) and if I am in teh field, I slob out - jeans and a sweatshirt.

Im a teacher, so I get dressed up. Some days will be more casual than other ays. But in the summer time, we wear capris.

Suits and business casual. I think wearing a suit is so easy. I don't have to put much thought into it. I have a more difficult time trying to coordinate for business casual.

really boreing business casual

99.99% of the time its dark pants and a sweater with either brown or black pumps.

I need to go on that What Not to Wear show.

We are supposed to be Business Formal....but in my dept. we are pretty laxed about it!
I don't even own a nice suit!!!
