"Fun" music for dad dance??
My father and I are not especially close, so I want a song that's not very dramatic or mushy. Thinking along the lines of My Girl (temptations) or Isn't she lovely (stevie wonder.) Any other suggestions??

I am super close with my Dad - but I am using the Summer Wind by Sinatra. I think it's pretty light and would be OK for you too.
I just picked it because we love to go to the beach together all the time.
My girl,the way you look tonight Frank Sinatra.
BTW if these are anyones songs w/father that you are close to I'm in No way saying they are not sentimental - just dont have any love mentioned in them ....

I'm close with my dad but don't like mushy songs. I was thinking between "Isn't She Lovely" and "My Girl" because he loves Stevie Wonder and the Temptations. But I now like "It Had to Be You" and "The Way You Look Tonight." Decisions, decisions! I think these are good choices whether you are close with your father or not. They're certainly fun songs!

I was thinking of using "It's a Wonderful World", Louis Armstrong...
Either that or a Beatles or Elvis song...I don't know yet - but I have lots of time to think about it.
