Good morning girlies!!!!!!! Hope everyone is having a great day so far!


Todays question is going to be a little silly!

What is the most embarrassing or silly thing you have ever done or said?






I'm sure I have one worse then this but this happened not too long ago for me!
DH made "special" brownies one night....which was a first for me! LOL!
And we're watching something on the Hoover Dam on TV (similar image below).
I turn to DH and say...... Wow! Those beavers did a really great job!


Yes I did almost pee my pants from laughing so hard! And at the same time it was coming out of my mouth I knew it was wrong.
I have no ideaaaaaaa why I said it!


Just to clarify.... I DO know that the Hoover dam was not constructed by beavers!

Love it barb! So this happened last week at work... I was teaching a kindergarten class and we were singing a song about black cats in honor of halloween. For whatever reason this one child was fixated on the cats and was scared and yelling yada yada...i got so flustered! We moved onto singing about pumpkins (quick subject change!!) and the child raises her hand and says "Where to black cats even live mrs. Drinkwater?" Well in my haste to justm ove on i said "Black kids live in houses!" I wanted to die! The aides in the class though it was hilarious!

Okay mine is as follows...some of you may remember this from a old post...

When dh and I were first dating, i really really liked him but i was so hurt in the past that iw as afraid to allow us to be an "Item"

So one night we were on the phone...

and

DH: So, what is this? Right now?
Me: Its a day...monday actually

DH: No between us...what is it?
Me: A phone

Here is mine...its kinda stupid.



So we were ALL at DHs Aunt's house in Rockland and we were playing scene it. So we had a girls team and guys team and we are all playing and having a good time.

So it was one of those guess the MOVIE title by two photos on the screen.


There was a photo of a Cubs "PAW" and a photo of a Cherry "PIE"

People are trying to guess and just shouting out movie names and this just rolls out of my mouth SUPER loud

"HAND CRUST!"

As soon as it left my mouth I wanted to take it back....it was like the record just scratched and everyone stopped playing and stared and started LAUGHING and LAUGHING....they were like "Hand crust??!?!" *** movie do you know called Hand Crust?!!?!?!"

Even now when I go over his cousin says "Hi Hand Crust"

I just thought of another one! Which happens to be my Moms favorite story to tell!

When I was taking Horticulture classes for my degree, we would always go on field trips to view greenhouses and farms alllll the way out east. So on one trip I had 3 people in my car (1 girl and 2 guys). In the middle of nowhere there was a HUGE hot pink sign that said FREE MANICURE! (or so I thought!) I was driving pretty fast so I hit my brakes really hard...stopped the car and started screaming OMG lets go in! Free manicures!!!! The peeps in my car were hysterical laughing.

The sign really said FREE MANURE!!!!!!






Now why would they use a hot pink sign with black letters? Thats sooo girly!!!!

these are all so funny! great question!!

one of the many...

first time meeting BIL we had everyone over for football one sunday. BIL was going to grab another beer and asked me if I wanted another one and my response was..."No thank you, I'm slow" meant to say i'm a slow drinker. he teased me for a while for that one.

So this wasn't exactly MY most embarassing moment but I love sharing it. I teach high school, and one afternoon I was in the math office with another teacher when a male student came in to ask the other teacher about something he left in her classroom by mistake. She went to her coat to get her keys out, and when she pulled them out of her coat pocket, she thought a hair clip fell out so she asked the student to get it for her. Thankfully, I turned around just in time to see the boy hand off a tampon to her! When she realized what it was she freaked, "Oh no, not that, I mean I didn't mean for you to give me that, oh god!" I was just trying to hold in my laughter and the kid was just stunned. He pretty much just grabbed the keys and ran out. Definitely the funniest moment I've had at work. For my coworker, probably the most embarassing and funniest all in one!

I love these!

We were playing F*ck the Dealer (drinking/card game) and towards the end DH was the dealer and started to lose, so I said something like "Oh, he IS getting f*cked!" and apparently the way I said it had unintentional sexual overtones.

My friends still tease me about that.

I know I have tons of embarrassing moments...why cant I even remember one atm...

Well one thing I can sort of add is that I LOVE to tell jokes & make a play on words - esp when Im around DH I'll always say afterwards "get it?" to make sure he knew I was trying to be funny - i usually feel kind of embarrassed but funny at the same time...Im my own best audience when I tell jokes - some I cant even get through w/out totally cracking up...

The most embarrasing thing I ever said?

Well that happens pretty regularly, but......


A few years back I was at a barbecue with this guy I was dating-

Long story short I asked where relish came from!! I had no idea relish was made from pickles!!


LOL

And of course I asked that question in front of like 15 people
