Need gift idea for a friend who's leaving
We are having a farewell dinner for one of my girlfriends who is moving to Nevada tmrw She has a 1 year old darling boy. What do I get her as a good-bye gift?? I haven't been able to come up w/ anything Thanks.

At the farewell dinner I would give her something small like a favorite picture of the two of you with a card. But then send a gift basket or plant/flowers to her new place in Nevada. That way she wont have something else to pack and move with her other stuff. And it will be a great surprise when she gets there.

from a person who is moving cross county on sunday...SOMETHING VERY SMALL!!! I like the idea of a picture...but really I think a card with a note from the heart would be great

Anna had given me a fabulous idea ... how about an engraved key chain for her new keys. You can probably get a nice one at Things Remembered.
I thought that was so thoughtful and wonderful. I was going to buy this for one of my friends, but it didn't pan out.
