Very Proud of myself- BM vent- put her in her place- finally!!!
I have been having a problem with 2 bm , one is all squared away, and the other one is impossible to get intouch with. Yesterday was the last straw. I told her in a letter she needed to get to the store to be measured by the begining of July, end of June, and she left me 3 messages on the machine about how she is so busy and tAke everyone else, and then she will go, not to leave detailed messages on her machine becuase she is not talking to her sister etc. I Had had it, she even went so far as to tell me she will not know what size to order,, she thinks it is cash and carry , I can never get her in person , it is phone tag all the time, and I was like this just too much, I am sick of having to explain that dresses take a few months to come in ,etc. I am stressed enough becuase my mom and dad have passed away, I do not need more stress from someone I have known since I was 3 years old!!! So, I printed from the computer address and directions to the store, a picture of the dress, there store hours of operation, and a letter telling her to let me know ASAP what she is doing becuase then I will know what to do on my end. I even went so far as to attch it to her front door. I am a very relaxed bride and by no means a "bridezilla" but I feel so good that I did this.
PS she also told me I have plenty of time to do all this, the wedding is a year away- it is less then a year now.

I am so sorry you are having these stresses, and about your parents. It's an emotionally charged time no matter what outside stresses occur, so you are not being a "bridezilla." She needs to understand that by accepting the honour of being in your bridal party will mean some minor sacrifices- and if she can't then you cannot let her ruin your day. I know it is hard, especially when it is someone you have known your whole life & probably envisioned being there with you for many years, but she needs to wake up and realize its your wedding not her "Bridesmaid's Day." You seem to have done more than expected to get her moving.... the rest is up to her.

Good for you! I'm glad you did this. Why does it always seem to be the ones we've known the longest, and who are supposed to be our closest friends, that end up being Bridesmaids From H*ll? I hope she will get moving on this now.

Thanks for all of your support ladies, I will keep u posted, I am almost sorry I asked her to be in it, no loss if she is not, I have resorted to this fact already!
