Unity Candle for OUTDOOR Ceremony...
Im looking for a UC that I can have outside that wont blow out if the wind kicks up. Any ideas???
Maybe a set with a hurricane lamp or something creative.

I can't help you, but am interested in the same thing. I really would love to do a unity candle, but at my FSIL's wedding last summer the ceremony was outside & it was windy & they couldn't get the candles lit, so they just went through the motions. It probably didn't bother anyone else, but as BTB I was mortified for her. It looked ridiculous for them using unlit canndles! I was thinking maybe some kind of clear plastic cover for them or something? I know someone on this board must have some ideas, please help us.

Something like this might work...except with one candle.
This way the floating candle wont get blown out.

The one on the left is nice. Water needs to be lower.

What about using a regular unity candle...but put a hurricane lamp around it???

That is what we are doing for the memory table lighting since that will be outdoors. Hurricane over it until it is back inside.

That's what I'm doing Diane.
I bought my unity candles from an on-line company in Ireland. They come with stands and I bought hurricanes from Illuminations.
I hope it works!!

I'm sure you can find the glass holder at any craft place, then get those glass beads fill w/ water and add floating candle.
