Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

Well DAWNIE had her wedding on SUnday, and everything went as planned. This is a two part story, so if you want to read the Police Report info, just scroll to the bottom...no hard feelings, I know some of you are at work, I understand...

RH Dinner: Paparazzi

Food was great, service was great, price was great.

Make-up: Jacqueline Nicole

DAWNIE, my mother, and her BM looked so beautiful, that it brought tears to my eyes. The make up was so done to look natural, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Price was very reasonable also...

Hair: S/B Ciro, but he had a massive heart attack three weeks before the wedding. Elena the Bridal Assistant came on such short notice, and she did a beautiful job.

She did my hair and make up, DAWNIE's hair, and her BM's hair who used and extension. If anyone is considering using one, as long as the color matches, go for it. It looked beautiful, and our hair stayed all day long. I am using her for my wedding.

Transportation: Designer Limos

Ok, let's just put it this way. If it weren't for Ramon, our limo driver, who stuck his had under the hood of my car to disconnect the alarm, we would never had made it to the ceremony. This is part of the whole Police Report. You'll read about it later on. But they deserve an A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Our limo bar was stocked up with with liquor, and I believe the only people who were not feeling it by the time we arrived at the reception were three flower girls. The arrived very early and drive past the house on there way to pick up teh guys playing "HERE COMES THE BRIDE..." on teh horn. Of course at first we freaked out because they were an hour early, but when tehy continued on towards the grooms we felt better.

Reception: FLOWERFIELD

WOW...that's all I can say...If you are getting married there, you are very, very lucky. It was beautiful, the food was delicious, the waitress was by our side every minute refilling our drinks. The place was beautiful, the bridal suite was stocked up with drinks and food and I loved the Bridal Attendant...(I didn't get his name, but he was a doll...)

At no point during teh evening was teh dance floor empty...

I really can't comment on teh gown, other than it was beautiful. One complaint was that I couldn't get that **** detatchable train to stay on and it began to detatch at the alter. I was grinding my teeth telling DAWNIE, "DON'T move..." and I kept trying to fix it. Couldn't get that thing off her quick enough.

MENTAL NOTE TO SELF: NO DETACHABLE TRAIN FOR MY WEDDING...

Awwwwweeeeee, these people were so nice!!! The were not pushy at all, creative and they helped me put the film in my own camera (because I couldn't figure it out for myself, and the used my camera to get the pictures that I wanted to be in. How sweet was that? NOw I can have my own copies and not have to wait forever for her proofs. I will let you know how they turn out.



Ok, some stupid b*tch in the Bridal Party walked off with my lap top, my keys, $200 worth of CLinique make up still in boxes (my mother stocked up during the last free gift sale at Century 21), $100 worth of Revlon, Ultima II, Cover Girl and max Factor make up that I bought at Rite Aid for half off, my SHOWGIRLS video and one other video, $40-something in cash, my fathers text pager taht belongs to the FSBNY, and best of all, my wedding checkbook with teh VISA check card and a balance of $16,698.00...
Ok? DON'T TRUST ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSE. EVER!!! i HAVE BEEN CRYING SINCE 8:00 LAST NIGHT, I HAD TO HAVE MY FATHER DRIVE ME TO BAY RIDGE HONDA AND HAVE MY KEYS REMADE FOR MY CAR ($90), WE CHANGED TEH LOCKS ($103)...my Laptop had all my wedding info on it. My guest lists, $200 worth of software, work stuff, pictures, and receipts...

TRUST NO ONE! This was someone that we knew, that we let in to out home. I had the police here today making out the police report and he kept shaking his head in disbelief. I am sick from this whole thing, I call in to work...I bought a half gallon of ice cream after closing my bank account and it's almost gone already. I am so sad over this...These are people that my sister has known here whole life, and I feel dirty and distgusting and po'd that they would have the nerve to do something like this...
Al I am pointing out is that no matter how well you know people, you never REALLY know them...

WOW, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope they arrest whoever did it and you get all your stuff back the way it was. I know that won't change the way you feel but I hope it all works out for you.

Unfortunately, we had about 20 people here at one time, and we have no idea who did it. I am not going to pursue it b/c I have no proof...It's one of those, :Oh yeah, I saw your laptop by the side of your bed, and now it's not there," type of things...I found my Coach bag which was hanging on my door in the AM laying where my laptop should have been when I got home on Monday. I wanted to update my guest list and I went to the computer case...hhhmmm, gone. The money and teh check book were gone. When my motehr took a shower and came out to get her make up, it was gone. When I took a shower and went for my case, it was gone. My father goes to get his beeper to see if work called, it was gone...I sat on my bed to cry, I notice two empty spaces on my shelf where the videos were, gone. We only had BM's in teh house, and my two brothers, and my FH's sister. I know my two sister;s, two brotehrs, and my FH's sister all drove together, so they didn't do it...

Sweety, interview your neighbors, see if they saw anything funny after you left. It's not unheard of for *******s who want to rob people "stalk" homes that they see are about to be vacated for vactions, weddings, etc....

Someone may have very well come into the house after you all left and did this. Did you guys check the locks and windows????

We just had so many people, and it started that my keys were gone and I was flipping out, and the Limo driver was a doll and finally turned it off. Monday morning, I began to look, and I just started noticeing that there were empty spaces on my shelves. They all dressed in my room b/c the phograpper/videographer were going to use Dawn's room and my mother wanted to keep it clean...

Our next door neighbor was invited, the police were shocked because nothing ever happens on my block, doors and windows were locked and nothing was missing except the beeper from anywhere else than the downstairs bathroom and my room. The bank was sympathetic, but I still had to close the account.

That is absolutely horrible and sick. Especially stealing make-up, OMG how pathetic of a person can someone be. Do you have a "feeling" of who it is?

I am so sorry to hear about what happened to you. I cant believe someone would be so low. I dont know what to say except they that I have always subscribed to the saying -what goes around comes around, they will get theirs.

No, the bride (me) and groom are not on the honeymoon yet. I am here at work..
It stinks that something so wonderful turned into something so ugly.... This totally has overshadowed what was otherwise the most perfect day of my life!
I will give review of my own when I get home from work.....
