Stress.....(I need to vent- with pic of my lost dog)

I think I have never been so stressed in my life....I have school full time, and internship, a job, I am trying to find a job for after I graduate, this wedding stuff, my apartment is a mess, we lost my dog......
I can't decide whether to throw up or cry. I feel like doing both.

Sunny I am sooo sorry, where did you loose your dog? Did he have tags on?

I lost my dog form my house in Dix Hills on Feb 19th. She had on a collar, tag, and bell. This is her. She is on the left.

Have you called the local vets in that area? I'd call all vets in Nassau/Suffolk county and give them a description of your dog...someone may have found him (or her?) and is going to keep it as their own pet (maybe someone the tags came off?)

Also, keep checking the local pounds....I'd even call all the pounds/animal control places all over the island.

If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

I really hope you find your dog!

I'm so sorry about losing your dog. Did you check Petfinder.Org? Sometimes they have found dog advertisements. I'll say a prayer that he comes home soon.

Oh sweetie! I'm so sorry! I hope he returns safe and sound soon! I'm sure he misses his mommy! Not to be too personal, but (I'm assuming he's a he) but did you have him nutered? We have to have our baby done soon. He was a stray and the vet said that's why he ran away from his last home. I still think of the probablilty of a little boy waiting for his doggie to come home and I have him! We checked out the papers, flyers, pound, vets in the area, but no luck! We even put a found pup add out and no one responded! Good for us b/c we love him, but bad for the previous owners. I hope yours turns up soon! I will keep my fingers crossed. If I see him my way I'll let you know, but I doubt it since I live too far away from you!

Thank you all- we called all the pounds, shelters, etc. about a million times each. We put signs up everywhere, sent flyers to every vet and shelter on the island, ran an ad in newsday, knocked on a million doors.... We tried petfinder, hired a pet detective-
we are sure someone stole her.

not to make a joke, but there is really a such thing as a pet detective??? I read that and the first thing that jumped in my head was Jim Carey, ace ventura pet detective

We saw her last at home in Dix Hills- she accidentally got out the front door.

Chippa- I thought the pet detective was funny, too. A neighbor called us and gave us her number. My dad called her. Unfortunatly, she is not like Ace at all. She was helpful though, gave us some tips, although we had done most of what she said already.
