Limos vs Mini Van/Bus

I am thinking that it might be more fun for the bridal party to be in an 18 passenger bus than a limo. Any thoughts/comments? And references?

My sister did that and it was a lot of fun. She said that she was a little squished and the possibility of someone dropping stuff on you is greater. Besides that it really was fun for us.

I booked the 22 passenger Excursion from Alladin's Limos in Wantagh.....it was $950 with a Lincoln Towncar home.....not a bus, but a really big limo....give them a call.

Lisa We had a 16 passanger "party bus" for our wedding. The bus took the guys over to the church. I had a limo that took me to church but after we were married we all went into the bus and had an awesome time. It wasn't that crowded (and I had a big dress) and since it had u shaped leather couchs in it everyone got to face each other and PARTY!!!!! I highly recommend it!

Hi Lisa. I have booked a 35 passenger party bus. It has couches and tables etc. I have a large bridal party so it pays. It comes out to be alot cheaper than to get limos for everyone. This way everyone is together (including the bride/groom) and our parents. You dont have to worry about loosing a limo somewhere. I use Empire State Limo Service. They have alot of buses to choose from. Their # is 631-864-8802. Give them a buzz. The owner Ed is really nice and they work with you. Good Luck and let me know what you wind up with.

I found them to be inflexible with their packages...what was written was what you were going to get. And, they seemed pretty snotty about it...because they've been in the business soooooo long, and they're ALWAYS booked...blah, blah, blah. (They were refered from my reception hall, so I thought they would've been a little bit more flexible.)

We are also considering a party bus-- do you have picutres of the one you used? how much did you spend? the only thing I am concerned about is regretting not having a limo in the pictures! sounds stupid right? I like the idea of everyone being together and having fun-- Laura

She was concerned b/c I was concerned and made things happen!!! I know it may sound silly but I was very upset about this - and I am totally relieved that they took care of this. I have had such a wonderful experience with their office - they've been so accomodating and very attentive (I never have to say anything twice!)

Wow - how many places would just get up a re-tile a bathroom to make a bride happy???? Now THAT'S customer service! : )

Laura We had a limo just to take me to church and we got pictures with it then but after the ceremony we got a bunch of pictures inside the bus, fun joking around shots that turned out great! That might be an option for you so you can get the best of both worlds! Good luck!

Who did you use? Can I ask how much you paid? any pics that sort of thing? Jeremy is taking a limo from NJ with the guys and I will be at the hotel with girls and then we want to have everyone be together and comfortable--so I guess if we want pictures we do have the limos beforehand

I used Stargazer Limos 718 843 8488. Very professional service! We were very happy. The driver actually gave me the best piece of advice before I walked down the aisle. I was so nervous and on the verge of tears, he took my hand and told me that this was the happiest day of my life and the best present I could give everyone especially myself was a big smile as I walked into church! Well, I did and my proofs are beautiful! I look so happy and I really was! And still am! I recommend them! Good Luck!

I know how horrible you must feel, I too have had problems with the Commack Wedding Center in the past (with bridesmaid dresses). If you had felt so strongly at the time that the dress was too short, you should have refused to pay for it. I would have stood there and screamed until I got my way. They have one seamstress who is absolutely terrible. If you leave with the dress and sign the receipt, then legally the wedding center is not responsible. However by making what happened known to the Better Business Bureau, the news or everyone you can think of, if he has any conscience, he will do the right thing. Take the advice that everyone had left and go to another seamstress. Don't let something so minor as a hem ruin your special day. It is not worth it.
