John Anthonys - Choosing my menu this week, too!
In seeing Mishy's post, I could use some help on the same topic from John Anthonys brides/guests. Any suggestions?

Re: John Anthonys - Choosing my menu this week, too!
hi paiz,
i'm not getting married there, but my GF got married there last year. the one thing that sticks in my mind - her dinner entree was a combo - you got the chicken and steak on one plate (people who wanted fish, got just the fish). the combo plate was a huge, huge hit!!!!! not sure if that's a standard JA thing or just something that she did.
good luck!!!

Re: John Anthonys - Choosing my menu this week, too!
I picked my menu about a week ago (wedding is 3/29). For the cocktail hour, we did the Traditional Italian and French stations; roast beef and ham as carvings, and I can't remember the rest off the top of my head. For entrees, we chose the filet/chicken francaise combo and then a second choice of poached salmon. Dessert will be the semifreddo and the cake will be yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling and whipped cream icing.
Hope this helps!

Manicotti for the hot app and the fresh mozzarella for the "appetizer duet".

My G0D, it's been so long since I've looked at the menu selections. Manicotti sounds good for a hot appetizer. I'll have to study the menu tonight, and I'm sure I'll have some ??s for tomorrow.
No turning back now, huh?
