Need an opinion on possible BM jewelry!
I was thinking about these for possible BM gifts:
Black Pearl Necklace & Earring Set
or
Black Pearl Necklace & Bracelet Set
Do you think the black pearls would be too dark
with their black dresses?
I initially wasn't going to get them jewelry b/c I figured they may want to personalize their look for the wedding. Should I stay away from jewelry and look for a different type gift?

They are very pretty. I love black pearls but my mother has always refused to let me get them b/c she says they bring sorrow. She has so many superstitions! I don't think they will be too dark with black dresses, especially if it is an evening wedding.

I love #1, I think it is the perfect look for your dresses. It is elegant and sophisticated and that is the vibe I get from your BM dresses (especially in black). I like the silver thing in the middle because it breaks up the line of pearls and adds alittle something to the look. I don't really like the plain set (#2), it's kind of flat and boring looking, but then again, I never like the single strand of pearls look, no matter what the color.

I love pearls and I love black pearls, i have a pair of black pearls that I wear on special occasions and people think they are beads LMAO!!!!!
Jenny I like them all, I'd get black because they are different.

I like the black pearls...I think earrings would be better to give them...b/c most BMs will want to wear earrings...and it will be a tough match to make...

I love the black pearls! I think they would look great. IMO, the 2nd set of pics (choker style necklaces) might be too much with the dress because of the neckline. I think a single strand would be perfect. Great dress by the way!

Ok girls...if I should decide to get them jewelry, it looks like #1 is the winner!
My FH was in agreement with you guys...the chokers and multiple strands may not look appropriate on some of my BMs. The single strand black pearls can be worn by all and for more occassions.
