VENDOR RAVE!! LITTLE FLOWER SHOP

I just wanted to let everyone know about an unbelievable experience with a vendor. John from the Little Flower Shop has been absolutely unreal from the beginning, and when I saw my sample cp last weekend, I was blown away.

First, when I met him, he listened to everything I had to say. He offered suggestions, but what I wanted came first. He wanted every detail, down to the color of my dress. I was there for the longest time, but it felt like minutes. He truly gave me the time and the attention that a wedding deserves. I felt very taken care of.

Then we started talking about vendors, and he knew about everyone! He gave me some invaluable critiques, and didn't stop there. He even called a vendor on my behalf, and it was a GREAT help. He did not suggest friends of his from the business, but gave me some real unbiased commentary about what he had seen at other weddings (since he delivers and arranges the flowers himself at weddings). I couldn't have asked for a better resource.

My CP was so pretty, it actually brought me to tears. He was so happy it was like I was his daughter! His happiness at seeing MY happiness really told me something about him. He loves his work, and it shows. It was a great feeling, and I wanted to let anyone looking for a florist know.

And just so you know, NO I don't work there, and NO we're not related. So often things don't work out, and businesses disappoint you. I was so happy with my experience there, I had to say something.

Attached (if they work) are pics. Can't make up my mind between the tall with the candles (there will be greenery on the stand) or the vase (there will be blue delphiniums in the vase). I want the one with the candles, but it's SO tall, I don't want people to be looking at the bottom of the flowers! Also included two pics from home, just so I could get a close up. Please let me know what you think. I may make the hydrangeas a bit darker- I love the blue ones with the green/turquoise in them, but not sure.

I second that! I worked with John as well and I have pretty much the same review. He's been great.

Thank you so much for posting... I was supposed to go to some flower vendors today and I am close to just going with someone I liked a few months ago, but I'm going to wait it out and be sure to go to LFS ... I grew up in Lindy and they always came through for major events ...

I use the little flower shop for everything.
Every time i need flowers I go there.
They ALWAYS do a great job!

I agree- I have lived in Lindy my whole life and they are great. My sister used them and her flowers were beautiful.

I met with them but went with another Lindy florist because DH knew the owner of the other place and wanted to give them the business.

If DH didnt want to do that then there would have been no questins asked, it would have been the little flower shoppe

I'm so glad to hear the good things- I am just so thrilled. I've been so down about business lately- everyone just sort of seems like they're trying to do as little as possible for their customers.

This experience was entirely the opposite. I felt like a member of the family there, and John cared so much about how I felt about the finished product. He is just a great guy, and I'm so thankful I found him!!

Those flowers are beautiful!! Deffinitely going to check him out when i start looking at florists. I would go with the ones on the vase bc I think the ones on the candle will be too tall so you will lose the beauty of the flowers. JMO
