In Need of Honeymoon Help!
Where to go for an August honeymoon? Feeling very limited due to hurricane season. Looking for an all inclusive resort. Any suggestions?

What about trying something in Hawaii. Bermuda (not as likely to get with a hurricane as the Caribbean). Or completely different Europe?

Definitely check out Aruba. It's out of the hurricane belt. We just got back from our HM there, it is beautiful!

I'm feeling the same way...it's very limited unless you want to chance it. We would like an all inclusive adults only resort. It doesn't seem like Aruba has what we're looking for. We found this Sandals resort we love in St. Lucia, however I'm very nervous about the hurricane season. It is further south than some of the other islands but, it's not out of the hurricane belt. We've done a lot of research but, still have not made a decision.
We also looked into Tahiti and Bora Bora, but they're pretty expensive and still don't seem to compare to St. Lucia.

I would suggest Aruba as well. We loved it there and it's safely outside the hurricane belt. Lots of great all inclusives too. Or if you can afford it, Hawaii, Greece or Italy are beautiful that time of year. We're heading to Greece because I was worried about the same thing and we'd already been to Aruba and wanted something different. Good Luck!!

i went to St. Lucia in Sept and it rained the whole time but than i went to DR and the weather was beutiful!

We went to St. Lucia in August, and yes it showered everyday for a few minutes but it was mostly sunny - like Florida weather. From what I understand, although the possibility for a hurricane to strike is there, bc it is so far south it is very unlikely.
