Grooms Cake Poll
FH goes upstate hunting every year. It's usually thanksgiving week. This year the date for hunting has been moved up. Opening day is Nov 15 the same day as our wedding. Some of the guys are missing the wedding because of this.
FH also has passions of fishing & golf (every weekend)
Should I get him a Grooms cake as a deer, golf or a fish?
I am leaning towards the deer because he is upset he is missing out. LOL What do you thinK?
Sorry If I offend anyone who is against hunting.

Why not get him a grooms cake where he can have all 3??
Like, have a little FH made out of fondant, or gum paste, and having the sides of the cakes reflect the different sports. One side can have the deer hunting, one side can have the fishing, and the other golfing??? Maybe something like that?
Unless you just want a cake with just one thing. I think it would be cool to have sort of a portrait of each sport on the cake. Almost like painted on but wiht some figures in fondant/gumpaste?

I don't see the photo of the deer but I do think a deer cake would be cute. I'm not against hunting or anything but maybe I would get a deer cake if he actually liked deer (not hunting them, but just liked them LOL). 
Edited because I saw the deer cake in your album and I really like it! I think your FH might love that!

Thats true too but I think most of the family is a hunters or come from that back ground. MY FH is Greek so they are used to seeing the Lamb every year on the spicit. I think they could handle the lamb.

I would go with the deer picture since he is a little upset at missing the trip. If out of the three that is the one that you think he enjoys the most go with that one.

Ladies, I went to dortoni today & was told the Deer cake would be $300- (pic in album) I dont know what to do........that is alot of money. Should I do it? OMG...I am so confused.
