signature drinks?
is there anyone who has/is going to do this?
what drinks did you do?
what was in them?
my rh does this for free, as long as they have the alcohol... i thought it would be anice way to add a personal touch to our wedding...
please help me out with some ideas!!!!

my FSIL just used a red devil martini but called it a Rini-Martini (her new last name). you can always take a drink you like and just rename it for the wedding.

most i know renamed drinks
i had a martini bar but i had made a special request for coconut margarita. I LOOOVE coconut its my favorite and i had it during my bachelorette party and couldnt stop thinking about it

We did two, named after each of our kitties. I got the list of alcohol that our hall carried stock and then did some research online. We needed one "orange" drink and one "white" to match each kitty. I found some great recipes on www.absolut.com you can even search by cocktail color! I made signs for the bar which were pics of the kitties with the recipe for each. HTH

I think most people just re-name a drink. I plan to have a signature drink..but cant decide what is appropriate for Nov. I love Mojitos...but think they are too summery. They would be perfect for your wedding. And since you can do so many variations with them...you could make it match your colors.

I don't really drink but I love Bellini's (peach nectar or peach schnapps and champagne), I had one for the first time when my FH and I were in Charleston, SC the last time we were together before he was deployed, so it has special meaning to me too.
My name is Monique but everyone calls me Moe so I am going to name my signature drink "moelini's" .

DH is a trained bartender so he "invented" a drink for ours....we called it the "Something Blue." If you want to invent something just experiment! Just be sure you have a few nights ready b/c you can only drink so many experiments in one night!
This is what it was:
1 oz Orange Vodka
1 oz lemonade
1 oz sour mix
1/2 oz blue curacao
Shake and pour into glass filled w/ ice
Garnish with a lemon twist
They served tiny versions on trays during the CH to get people into it, and then people ordered them at the bar and they served in Martini glasses
