is anyone on? i feel like i have to talk to someone and my best friend and FH are not around....i just got really upsetting news...

ok a few years ago i knew a boy that killed himself b/c his gf broke up with him - it was horrible.... around the same time i had a crazy bf who would say the same things to me and one time i was so worried that i called his mom....nothing happened thank god....but it was scary b/c we both knew the boy who actually did it - i was around 18 at the time....


so ff to now - my sister has a boyfriend - who is crazy - just like my ex actually my sis has been trying to break up with him - she is a senior in high school - and he would say the same things to her - and she would be afraid to break up with him - and told me it was just like my ex all over again.....

so today my sisters best friend broke up with her boyfriend - he said the same crap - she was really upset and afraid so she told her mom - her mom saw how upset she was so she called 911 and told the cops, the cops went to the boys house and they found him dead....he shot himself in the head....

my sister is with her best friend now - consoling her....

im so upset, i remember what it was like when i was at that age and our friend comitted suicide over a girl - and now im sure my sister is worried that the boy she was with (im not sure exactly what is going on b/c he always guilts her into getting back with him) is going to do the same...and im worried....

OMG I am soooo sorry to hear that. Wow. I am at a lost for words but I hope that your sister and her friend are doing ok despite this. That poor girl is going to need a lot of support and counseling to make it through this. I hope your sister doesnt get scared by this and is able to be strong.

Omg thats horrible news. I am completely speachless. I hope your sister and her friend are ok. Hopefully her parents will get her some help, someone to talk to. She is def going to need it.
As for your sister hope shes says strong, she has got to be terrified now.

I will definately keep all the families in my prayers

thats the crappy part i am sure many people are going to try and blame her, but i am sure this young man has or had been dealing with other issues to.


ETA; Hopefully the family of this young man, wont blame her and hopefully that will help her recover from this a little easier

i am in total shock right now....i just cant believe this happened to this girl - it boggles my mind that people actually kill themselves....i dont know, i have a lot of horror stories from when i was my sisters age....i even knew a girl who's bf killed her and then himself so at least this girl is okay - and he didnt hurt her or her family....i just wish my sister didnt have to deal with this crap, i guess it happens everywhere, even in a little town in florida...

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had an ex that said that...but he never did it. It's a difficult position to be in...and obviously nobody wants to be responsible for somebody elses death...BUT...everybody has their own free will...and a person cannot be held hostage mentally because of the fear of this. your sis needs to know that god forbid it ever actually did happen...it wouldn't be her fault...the fact that he issaying it in the first place shows he has issues with suicide already

ugh, i feel so bad....and my sisters friend, this girl is such a sweetheart - and i remember when the boy i knew did this, the girl had a lot of problems after - because people blamed her for it....i cant imagine the guilt - but she did the right thing....she took him seriously and called for help - it was just too late....and its not her fault.....anyone who commits suicide isnt well...

im worried about my sis....its upsetting for her too - its her best friend....and im not there - they are in florida i havent even talked to her today - my mom told me....i just know that this loser she is with is going to try and manipulate her now - and now she is never going to want to cut ties with him b/c she is going to be too afraid.....this is horrible - and the worst part is i know what its like b/c i had a very similair situation - where my ex would say that he would do it (after our friend did it) and i was so afraid to break up with him - it took me almost a year to break up with him - when i met FH that is when i finally had the balls to cut ties with him...

Nik Such sad news. I hope your sister's friend gets counseling and FAST and I hope your sister stays strong and does what she needs to do. I know it will be hard but if she wants out, she should get out no matter what her boyfriend says he will do. I don't know if it's true, but I always assumed people who threaten suicide were dangerous to the people around them --- and that's the last thing anyone wants!!!!

I'm so sorry! That's really tough to have to hear and deal with but thank god your sister and her friend are ok!
I don't get how people can do that....so much life to live. I mean I've had my heart broken before and it's hard....but I wish these people knew it got better and that violence and craziness aren't the answers!

OMG Nicole that is terrible, i cant even imagine how you feel right now.
I know how when your young and someone breaks up with you its the end of world and you feel that life is not worth living. Its so sad...being a teen is so hard.

I hope your ok and i hope your sister is ok.
I am sure she is so scared right now.

I am so sorry to hear all of this My little sister is 18 and I totally know how it feels to be a big sis and worry about them just as much as a parent would. I will send lots of prayers your sister's way so she is strong enough to be there for her friend, as well as handle her relationship situation. Keep us posted

This is so sad, I am so sorry & understand how shocked you are. I've had an ex tell me he would kill himself if we broke up & then and since then, I've always thought of it as guilt tripping to stay with the person but at the time, in the back of your mind you can't help but think, what if. Then I read your story & have a hard time wrapping my mind around it as well. Again, I am sorry & hope your sister gives her friend the support & love she needs along with her loved ones.

thanks guys its so tough being a big sis especially since im not there in florida with my fam.....and i cant even imagine how hard it is to be a parent
