Bridal Shower in Long Island HELP!
Hi ladies....Now that my wedding is several months past I've now moved onto being a bridesmaid in two more friends showers. I was wondering if anyone could recommend places in Long Island (preferrably Nassau county or western Suffolk) that could host approximately 40 people? It will be held on a Saturday or Sunday during the day....Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Not sure what price range you're looking for, but I heard The Carltun does AMAZING showers. I went to a shower at La Famiglia and the food was so delicious and can definitely fit that amount of guests and beautiful room.
ALso have been to a shower at Katy Daly's(sp?) they did a nice job.

I also heard about La Famiglia and that it was good. I just got married at the Carltun in June so I don't think she'll want her shower there....I'll also check out Kay Daley's....sounds good...

I second Jonathan's! We had my sisters shower there last weekend, it was really nice, food was great, i liked the space.
I've also been to events at Piccola Bussola in Mineola which was good too

I went to Jonathan's and they don't give you much for the price you pay. The room is nice but they don't include punch bowls or wine and the cost for these extras are high. The only thing they give is a salad, entree and cake after you are done adding on some extras you might as well have it at the Inn of New Hyde Park (I priced it out) or another hall because Jonathan's will end up being more. I suggest the Millerridge Inn, they really give you a lot for your money and it's really cute there.

Check out Jonathan's in Garden City Park. When I was looking for possible places to have a baby shower for my SIL, this was one of our choices. They have a great menu for social events that includes an occasion cake. Approx 30-40 pp and their food is great!! So check them out.
