OOT Boxes: How do you know?
How do you know who is staying at the hotel? Did you call all your friends/family?
We have an idea of various people who told us, but when I called the Best Western, they gave us random names - they said people must not have given OUR names so they don't really know an accurate amount or something. Like they just said we have five rooms left in our block, but that's not possible since we know all of these various people said they would be getting rooms.
Any ideas? I think we may just make like 20 boxes and assume there will be left overs??

I'm sorry I have no idea..I wasn't able to block rooms b/c none of our friends/family would get back to us...so they all booked at the last minute....I am not doing OOT boxes.

I called the hotel and asked how many people used our name to book rooms. Then we made some extra just in case guests booked without mentioning our names

i would do this as well...like u said...make the 20 and just have the extras. better to have more than not enough.

the two hotels I used were able to give me a print out of everyone who booked under our block. And I gave 1 or 2 extras just incase.

We have been calling all our OOT guests to find out which hotels there are staying in since they gave away our reserved block at the Marriot. I will have to go around to different hotels to drop off the bags

I had a block of rooms so when my guests called to make reservations they were put on a list for me. I was able to call and they would give me the names of everyone that had reservations under that room block. It got a little tricky for us bc alot more people then we expected decided to spend the night at the last minute so we just brought extra out of town bags and gave them to the front desk.
