Please help - I am SO dumb.

Ok, so I realized that I totally forgot to print something up mentioning that in lieu of a favor we gave a donation to an animal shelter, etc. We ARE doing cookies that say something about little shelter, but I dont think its 100% clear about the fact that it is a favor and we've made a donation.

Should I print up something on special paper and put it in a little frame? How many on each table? 2? Ahhhhh. What should I do to rectify this.

It's 4 days before your wedding. I wouldn't stress it. Just have your MC make an announcement.

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

You can either do 2 per tables or print one 5x7 put it in a frame and put it close to your CP so that people will know what it is. If you don't have the time DONT STRESS IT. People wont notice.

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

I just did something similar- I realized that I didnt post the signature drink on anything- so I got card stock & printed a message & folded it in half like a tent card- I was able to do 2 per sheet and it took me like 10 minutes hth

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

i went to a wedding last year that did donations as a favor. What they did was put this saying and what charity it went to and put it in a frame. They only put 1 on each table, it was a decent size too not like really small. Maybe if you do 5x7. I think this will be perfect. Dont drive yourself crazy printing a large amount and buying other things to put this together. Just print lets say 20 or whatever amount of tables you have is alot easier and get the frames for that amount is easier. Save yourself the trouble and frustration

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

I'm having menus... so I think maybe it will be too much stuff. I'm thinking like two very small framed announcments at each table? Like 3x5 or smaller

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

If you do 2 small ones you can have them set up the small frame one on each end of the table so that everyone can see them and it wont take up too much space for you.

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

i like the idea of having the DJ announce it.. this way you dont have to do anything!!!

if you are set on making something and dont want to crowd your tables, do 1 larger frame at the place card table. this way everyone sees it when they come in. i think thats the easiest, cheapest and best way to do it at this point.

OR....i can give you all my leftover bookmarks from my wedding. they have our names and date on them and they are for the American Cancer Society but i think they'll help clear things up

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

I did two menus and two donation cards per table. They were set up alternately around the CP vase. It seemed like enough for everyone to see without getting in the way. I think you would be fine to do one per table in a frame or alternate a few around the tables if you can, one per place setting is not necessary IMO

I'll just white out the names and write over them. That will look AWESOME.

what if you get the print-at-home place cards and put it on those and put 2 at each table- will be a lot cheaper than getting 17 frames

Re: Please help - I am SO dumb.

Heather! Just buy one 8x10 frame - or 11x14, whatever you want - and print a note about the donation favors on cardstock, put it in the frame, and put the frame on the placecard table. That way everyone will see it. If you want, get two frames - one for each side of the placecard table - but you don't need one on each table. This is what I am doing. Isn't your placecard holder also a mini-favor?? MIne is and that's what I am saying - "please take the placecard holder / candle holder but we also donated to out of the pits, a pit bull rescue and adoption org."

Don't stress about this now!!!!

Yeah thats what I think I'm going to do. I think its the least invasive option when there's already a ton of stuff on the table.
