Dee: oh thats weird, its ribs and sushi. Well they get credit for being different. Maybe next time DH wants sushi i'll go there since i would prefer ribs, this way we both get what we want
I just read a review about it and it says it's owned by some famous guy who owns restaurant in manhattan, chicago and the caribbean...and he combined all the different kinds of cuisines at those places and made Lucky Mojos since we didn't have any of those kinds of restautants.
We've been meaning to check it out..but haven't yet.
Also, you know Monducatis? They opened another one called Monducati Rustica...on Vernone and 47th Ave..it's like Pizzas and Paninis and real gelato...yummy!!

Lucky Mojo's is awesome!!! the ribssss are sooooo yummy and on Mondays they have the all you can eat ribs and draft beer for like 20 bucks .. and i haven't had their sushi yet but they have a lot of followers.. their calamari is great too w/ the garlic dipping sauce..

Oooo sounds interesting, now i want to try it.

I spent my childhood there, I love it! My Dad & Uncle have a deli on Vernon, (Marios).
Anyone ever go to Manetta's? Thats a great restaurant.

i think i went to manettas during the astoria black out for days. Obviously to do anything ppl had to leave their houses for dinner hahaha. And even in astoria every restaurant was closed and LIC was the closest part that was ok and had lights lol
