Thank you. Youre right. I would never be portrayed that way which is why I walked away from my first record deal with atlantic. They were ready to put an album out and I said hell no because they wanted me to be like a latin Britney Spears. I just couldnt do it!

My cousin has an amazing voice, and she is trying to get into this. She was talking about starting her own label, which she said doesnt cost much and anybody can do. Not sure how that would work for her, but i see how hard it can be. It is sad when you see people with no talent out there but those with talent having to struggle. Although your situation has nothing to do with you not having talent, its all about stupid music industry bs, and what the record company can do to screw you
Sometimes I think it all comes down to women selling themselves for their careers. The ones with no talent are willing to do ANYTHING to make it. The ones with talent try and do it the legitimate way and lets me honest that way is the hardest. I would never sell myself to make it in that industry which is why its so hard for me but nothing is worth my soul. You know what I mean? As long as I have Chris pushing me I feel like I can accomplish anything. I guess we'll see what happens. A record label really isnt hard to start at all! She should go for it. The only thing is money. You need money to promote your artists otherwise the rest is just talking power, promoting your artist, putting fliers out, booking performances at clubs. It can be done!

plus you still have more accomplishments than heidi does, she still hasnt done things you've done and you know they're not playing her videos on mtv, mtv2 or BET lol, i think we can bet on that one.

Yeah exactly!! And even when Pink first came out she let the industry heads sway her towards R&B. I can understand it though. Sometimes you need to sacrifice on the first album and then youll have more leniency on the second. And thank you! I HOPE to God they dont play it on TV. I dont think I could watch another minute of that video!

Thanks I try not to be. I need to focus on the positive. I gotta stop looking at the glass half-empty cause a lot of good came out of it.

Its so funny bc people call you by that too. I said to dh's brother that i had no idea his gf was somehow related to you, and he was like oh yeah the S******* girl yeah...his gf is melissa whom you saw at Pri's birthday, which btw shouldnt that be coming up soon?

Well thats good to know! I was always disappointed because I wanted it to be BIG where I was from! Im glad it did better than I thought!
And I couldnt believe Melissa uncle is married to my aunt! You know my sister & I hooked up my aunt with him through AOL Personals?!!! Isnt that hilarious:?! And he is the most hysterical and sweet man you will ever meet. the man has us dying when were all together!
