San Francisco reception planning...need help getting back in bride mode!
The west coast reception for my husband's family is two weeks away..I need to get my enthusiasm going, I have a lot to do, and I have been soooooo not focused on it. I have a great dress and headpiece, band and venue is booked, but I still have to order food, cupcakes, and plan decorations. It's at Pier 23 if any of you have been to SF. I just spend the week eating fried cheese in Wisconsin, so I have to get back on track now! If anyone has any suggestions on the decor, I would love it. One idea is small centerpieces with a slight 40's feel, think WW2 supperclub? Warning... the animation at the front of the site is very slightly suggestive. Since I booked, they totally changed the website so it looks more nightclubby, but it is a nice casual place with a old-fashioned feel.

Maybe vintage champagne glasses with tea lights? http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://members.tripod.com/a.whitton/aw72.jpg&imgrefurl=http://members.tripod.com/a.whitton/web_page21.htm&h=480&w=640&sz=31&hl=en&start=2&usg=__T2-dDwxgcSuJxPOTUsiVfLK7SbY=&tbnid=xq9xoQRdvMcOlM:&tbnh=103&tbnw=137&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dvintage%2Bchampagne%2Bglasses%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den

Thanks. I LOVE antique, victorian champagne glasses. Very Great Gatsby. If you're worried about them blowing out (candles) you can get the flameless tealights.
