Romper Room....
Today is bring your kids (or nieces/nephews/neighbor's kid) to work day 
I feel like I am stuck in a never ending episode of Romper Room.
I love children but not in the work place!

Me either. I get bring your daughter to work day and I used to go to my dad in the summer to his office (I think to give my mom a break) but I was older and could "help."
It was supposed to be a way to kick off the holiday weekend -- I say give everyone the day off and let them spend time with their families at home!

it's funny b/c i won't say i LOVE kids but i do kind of like when people bring their kids to work. I would love to show off my kid around the office. But there aren't many people in my office who do it so maybe that's why it doesn't bug me.

When people bring their kids in for a "visit" on their day off or something like that -- I love it. It is cute to see them say hi play for a few minutes and back to business.
30 children all under the age of 8 BIG DIFFERENCE!

They weren't really expecting people to get work done -- especially those who brought kids -- but they wouldn't let some of us work from home. If they let me do that I would have actually gotten things accompished because I would have worked and I would have not had to explain to a client all the racket in the background while on the phone!

that's annoying, i totally get that, especially since i'm working from home today  i think only my boss brought his kid in today. 30 kids in the office is crazy!!!

My boss brings in his 12yrs old daughter to work once in a while and i LOVE IT. All the crappy stuff i hate doing, she does for me and is so excited to help. She is such a big help, so she can come in anytime she wants, lol
