RSVP's coming in and .....
A lot of NO's!! Very upsetting! Grated a lot are OOT but still.....very upsetting! Some of these people I've known since childhood!

 oh, no! That isn't very nice. Peoples true colors come out during weddings. Its ok at least they are telling you! I am missing 60 and my RSVP date was 2 days ago

I agree..I thought a wedding was supposed to be a joyous occasion. Well, you can tell those that are happy and those that are just plain jealous!

I remember when we started getting No's and its sad. You dont picture opening the envelope and seeing a no especially if its someone you expected would be coming. I also find that odd that certain people wouldn't call first and give an explanation or a warning, but I guess it can be awkward. Don't worry, you'll def have more yes's than nos!!

I found that we did on most or at least got a note or explanation on the response card but thats was mostly for my family/friends. FH's family is from OOT and their No's RSVPS were usually blank. I guess its a regional thing

We got a lot of "No's" as well - love when the write a dissertation on the card as to why they can't attend. You can justify it in your mind all you want - the point is you aren't coming and I don't really care why you can't. You really get to know who your real friends / family are!
Yes that sounds very bridezilla of me but it still upsets me greatly and I did take the regrets personally even though I know I shouldn't.

We haven't received many No's yet and I know there are plenty more to come. Don't worry though, you'll have lots of Yes's coming soon! Family and friends that will be there just take FOREVER to send the RSVP if they send it at all!

I've been kinda nervous about that happening to me since it's right near Christmas. That's why I'm making the RSVP date 7 weeks before the wedding - to give me time to call all the procrastinators who refuse to RSVP on time and so that I can invite some of those last minute people if need be 
Don't worry - I'm sure a lot of people will be there. But i know it hurts when the ones you're 'close with' say they won't come. I have an uncle in Pa who already told me that he can't get off work and most of my FH's side also won't be able to come in from Co. It's tough not to take it personal. I completely understand.

I hear ya! So far all my responses have been Yes. I'm kind of looking forward to gettting some no's. Hahaha.
But I do understand how it can be upsetting to get a no from people you totally expect to come. Try not to take it personally. Look on the bright side, you definitely have more Yes's than no's.

Unfortunetly just because you sent the STD doesnt mean people are going to make your wedding a priority it hurts but they dont. Some may alter there plans and some may leave it.
I wouldnt think they were jealous if they didnt come i would just take it as oh well less $$ to lay out and other people i had maybe X'd off my list can come. Especially for Out of town guests, travel is expensive these days. Dont feel bad it will still be a special day. LONG AS FH SHOWS nothing else should matter..lol
