When doing the baby's laundry...
Ok, my first piece of advice :
WASH BIBS SEPARATELY !!!!
I just did a load of laundry, and found that 3 different bibs have decided to velcro themselves onto some of John Anthony's cutest outfits, ruining them !!! I had to pull it off slowly and of course it made the fabric all strung out, and pulled apart, and boo hooo !!!!
IM SOOO ANNNOYED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: When doing the baby's laundry...
I feel your pain! I try my best to make sure all velcro bibs are securely closed when I throw them in the wash, but it doesn't always work. I have actually taken to washing bibs and burp cloths in with our whites, so that they get bleached - otherwise, I can never get the formula stains OUT! Plus, I don't care if a piece of velcro sticks to underwear, towels or a sock! LOL!

Good idea, Claudine !
I do hate when the velcro sticks to socks ! it gives them little runs sometimes !
Some of those stains are tough to remove. I use that BRUS Nursery stain remover in the spray bottle. $10 for a darn gallon ! Its pretty good if you spray the clothing right away.

Re: When doing the baby's laundry...
How about putting those bibs into a laundry bag- like you do with delicates. IT would keep them away from other clothes. Not sure if it works well or not, but I figured I would throw the suggestion out there to you all.

Re: When doing the baby's laundry...
Great idea, they work for the hooks on the backs of bras, I'm sure they'd work for the velcro. Sorry Anna

Re: When doing the baby's laundry...
Good idea ! I thought of putting them in a pillowcase ! A lady I used to work with said she'd put her sons sneakers in a pillowcase and throw them in the wash ! Id be afraid to ruin my washer! (maybe I can try that at the local laundromat ! )
