Buying BM dresses in NYC..alterations????

Hi...this might be a completely dumb question but here it goes:

say I were to go to RK Bridal for BM dresses...and I choose to use them, do all of the girls have to do their alterations there?? I feel they will be annoyed that they have to go into the city for dresses....what are other options??? I mean, good options not like a random seamstress that no1's been to...i'm confused lol and inexperienced in this area

No you can take the dress elsewhere if you know someone who can do them.

my best friend, one of my BM, her aunt does alterations in great neck and i figured the girls could either go to their own people or if they dont have anyone we could all go to my BM's aunt's shop! i think that it will be wayyyy cheaper to do this instead of having the girls over pay at a bridal store.
