How has your wedding inspiration changed?

How was your wedding inspiration changed since you first got engaged?

When I first got engaged I wanted a very clean modern look with lots of green shades, low centerpieces, everything to match but very plain - nothing to crazy

Now I want ultra glam - bold purples and greens, lots of dramatic light, speciality drinks, lush flowers, table linens - the works

I didnt want flower CPs and wanted a simple gown.
Nothing fancy on anything and now I want want want.
I wanted a fall wedding, then a winter and now its summer.
Colors went from purple/green, brown/pink/green, brown/coral/green and they are now brown/taupe/camel/ivory/burnt orange.
No veil to wanting a veil, flip flops to shoes.
I'll stop there,lol.

1st I want a brunch simple thing, with simple dress no veil. Now its become crazier and crazier specially because of my mom (the cursed of the only child). The only thing that I havent change is my color scheme and the style of my BM dresses

When we got engaged, as is reflected in our STD's, I wanted ALL RED ROSES, and I was dead set on this, had been for years. Then, seeing all the inspiration boards and ideas from other brides, I completely changed to purple, green and yellow, with hydrangeas, lilies, etc. Decided a May 23rd wedding shouldn't be so "heavy". The dresses are still "shadow" color, but now the flowers are much more springy! This was a recent change.

Also, due to the originally "subdued" theme, my invite choice was classic, simple, but now, I'm doing pocketfolds with the new colors, from Tessa who is awesome, and I'm much more excited! My own wedding was staring to seem boring to me!!

My inspiration changed BACK to what I had always dreamed of lol.

When we first got engaged, we were looking at Fall, so I wanted chocolate brown and pink, then chocolate brown and blood orange. I wanted a simple dress, either lace or plain satin with no embellishments, mantilla, not a whole lot of flowers, etc.

Then we ended up in Winter, so it changed back to what I always had really pictured for myself, burgundy ivory and gold, very rich colors, almost Venetian. The dress I picked is covered in crystals, I'm leaning towards a crystaled veil, a little more flowers than I had originally thought, etc.

It's really too bad I have such expensive taste!

I change my colors and "theme" just about every week. So far pink and brown, chocolate theme then blue and yellow and white nautical theme than turquoise and brown then blue and ivory and the most recent has been sage green and ivory with pink and lt yellow. NOW i want to add a brighter color like blue or coral with it..

i have nooo idea anymore
