Teachers where do you....
buy class decorations?
I'm in Queens and I know of only one place on Union Tpke but they don't have much.
Isn't there one on glen cove rd. somewhere?
I need to decorate a 7th gr. SS class with US History things...any suggestions?

There is one on Hillside Ave in New Hyde PArk called Lakeshore... they have tons of decorations also there is one in carle place on voice road the educational warehouse

i recommend the dollar tree...granted i'm hoping to be an elementary school teacher so i could be a little more "cutesy" with my decorations, but i found a TON of stuff there for the classroom. definitely check it out.

those are the 2 best that I know of but they are both EXTREMELY elementary based.....for secondary materials there is like noplace to go!
theres also Veejays which is on Jericho Tpke in Mineola or Dutch Broadway in Elmont or Creative Child on Sunrise in Rockville Centre....HTH!

Lakeshore is awesome!! There is also a small store called Vejays in Mineola on Jericho tpk off Herricks Road. He sometimes competitive prices.

There is a place in Glendale. It's called Teacher's Choice Plus. The address is 7963 Myrtle Ave, Glendale 11385. The address says Myrtle but the entrance is on 79th Dr.

You must have gone to Carol's, right? I dont really like that place too much. They yell at you if your phone rings in the store. Lakeshore on Hillside is much better. I just went today and almost everything is 20% off and it's only 29 cents a foot to laminate!

i ordered stuff from posters.com. they were a much better source for secondary stuff than any of the educational stores i've been too.
