is this a good florist quote
Bride bouquet
MOH bouquet
3 Bridesmaid bouquets
grooms boutonnière
5 additional boutonnières
3 corsages
5 high centerpieces of roses, branches and votives
5 low centerpieces of ivory roses
Only flower in any of the bouquets are roses.
I was quoted
1790.14
Is this a lot for what I am looking for?

That sounds about right. The centerpieces themselves probably were close to $1000.

I got 3 quotes for my flowers.

I think u should of been quoted less, b/c your using roses and u don't have that many cp. U can also save $ by purchasing your own votives.

I have gotten one other quote (we have a while though) but that one was around 1200 and from a florist that is recommended by the hall, but we have been warned away from them by others.
I didnt think roses were that expensive though in January

I would look into getting a few more quotes
I went to 3 places and finally stuck with one, "Pedistals"
I also had roses and calla lillys ..... shop around and make sure they also have good feedback from past brides

I am getting basically the same thing 6 low and 6 high with candles and crystals hanging from the high ones and votives and rose petals at every table, plus the boquets, corsages and tulle to cover the gazebo and its like 2000-2500 so that sounds about right

I agree!!! I got a lot more than you and my florist is charging me way less. Make sure you shop around. The price quoted is too high (roses are one of the cheapest flowers)

I agree to shop around.. DEFINATLY!! ... If you ever feel soemthing is too high priced, ALWAYS shop for other quotes... I'm paying for most of my wedding, so a few hundred here and there all add up. So far I only have a formal quote on the following:
1 cascading peoney / mixed flower (white) boq
2 large cascading purple/blue/pink boks
4 med cascasing ....
3 perfectly round (non-cascading)
2 very small flower girl pieces
10 boutonineers (can't spell LOL)
1 'different' boutonieer for groom
4 cousages
only for 600....
I'm still up in the air for my centerpieces... b/c what I want is going to "supposidly" cost me well over 1000 a table... sooo.. We'll see what I can come up with that! lol. Keep shopping...you'll be soo excited if you find a better deal! Good luck
