STD "Location" Question
Okay-- on your STD the "Location" should be the church town or the reception hall town??
I don't know if there is a particular location that should be on there?
What have you heard?

I think you should include the location of the wedding - so the city for the church. Definitely include a location either way - the STD is usually meant to give OOT guests a heads up and time to plan, so leaving it off would pretty much negate that purpose IMO

i just put long island, new york because FH and i currently live oot while i'm finishing up law school, and we have friends and family all over the country.
wanted to tip people off that the wedding would be in ny and not somewhere else

I put "Long Island, New York". . . . but if I were at home, I would have put th ceremony town "Glen Cove, New York"
That is to announce where your wedding will be, not the reception. That is what it is meant to announce,
