You can go to any town hall on LI with your FH to get it, make sure you bring 2 forms of ID, most only ask for one but they ask you to bring 2
ETA: It does not need to be the town hall for the town you are getting married in, it can be any one on LI

You and FH have to go together to a town hall, preferably the town you're getting married in. Remember to bring a picture ID, your Social Security Card and a $40 check. It was easy peasy and we made an afternoon of it. Have fun!!!!!

you can go mon-fri to any town hall -- town of islip, town of brookhaven, town of babylon, etc.--- to get your license.

i went to islip town hall and it was in and out in 20 min.
