Review of Marina del Ray Wedding **UPDATED W/PICS***

Hey ladies here is my review of FH's cousins wedding from yesterday...... Will post pics later...

The ceremony was in a church up in New Rochelle.... we rented a limo to take us there but the AC ******! We were sweating the whole time. The ceremony was tooo long and no one could understand the preist and we didnt even know they said their vows .... I took lots of pointers on what to not to do or have at our ceremony.

The ride from the church to MArina del Ray should have been 20 mins.... it took us 55 mins with traffic


When we pulled up to the RH I was stunned at the view and the look of the place.... it was amazing!
When we walked into the lobby I fell in love with the fountain they have! We actually arrived a good 45mins before the CH was to start so in the lobby they had some refreshments. The only thing I did not like was that another wedding was also arriving and it was a little too crowded in the lobby. Thankfully it was a beautiful day so we hung out outside.

While we were outstide the B, G and BP came out to take their professional pics... I felt bad for them becuase besides the photographer they had to take pics for family members and guests who mobbed them...

The CH was awesome! We were in the Bellagio room....the food OMG amazing! My fav was the baked clams ... The CH was an hour and a half... I thought that was too long because a lot of guests were bored after a while.

The Reception was in the room with the view of the water and skyline... we loved our table we were in the back right corner and had the best view of the oustside... The food was good as well... I got the stuffed chicken... delicious

As for the music, the hired a live band.. unfortantely the band did not go over well with most guests.... after the first couple of songs most of the party was outside hanging out... I dunno the name of the band but I was not a big fan either.... they really did nothing to get the guests up to dance and they only played one song for the entrance in the beginning... I was not impressed. I hate to say I love to dance and I only danced to one song... a slow one with FH.

The dessert was good. they had family style platters of pasteries and cookies and then a red velevet wedding cake! Yummy!


Overall the wedding was good. I had a good time... wasn't sober through most of the reception... but had a good time....
forgot to mention for the flower toss FSIL caught it and I forced her b/f to get out there to try to catch the garter and he caught it! It was hysterical!

lol...lookin at those pics...I remembered..OMG I had my prom there...sooo weird I did not remember that before...

Great pictures and I totally agree about the hour and a half cocktail hour.... we were there a few weeks ago and it did get a little boring.
