Bachlorette Party RANT --Long

Ok, so one of my BMs said she would take care of my b-Party. I told her we wanted to do a co-ed b-party. She asked me for a list of names and #. When I gave it to her she told me that she didn't want to call people who she didn't know! ***! So, I was telling another BM and she said that she will take care of it to send it to her. I did over two week ago asked her to please call me and she still hasn't. I don't think I should have to call her to talk about a party they are supposed to take care of. Does that make me sond like a biotch? Cause I am not. Oh did I mention that the party is scheduled for 7/26? Yeap three weeks away! And we are just going to Fire Island. Now I know since my MOH didn't take care of it, it isn't going to happen. The Best Man doesn't want anything to do with planning it either! I told FH that when it is his turn you aren't doing Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii############ for him! Just like when these girls turn comes around I will return the favor. I know two wrongs don't make a right but I am really hurt by this. I don't get these girls. I have been nothing but good to them for years! And this is how I get paid back? I kept their dresses at a low cost, shoes I think I am going to let them get what they want. none of them want to get their hair of makeup done with me. When I ask them to go do anything with me they always have other things to do. I am not saying that they should be at my beck & call at all. I just know that when I was in a BP I tried my hardest to do what ever the bride wanted. I knew how important it was to her.

You are so right, 2 wrongs don't make a right. I hope they don't expect anything of you, however, when the times comes for your suuport.

That really *****. But if they aren't going to do it and you really want to have the party they way you want, take it into your own hands to plan it. Sometimes people jsut don't live up to their promises whether it's BP related or not....

I am the type of person who will just do it myself 1. to get it over with and 2. to make sure I get exactly what I want.

Hopefully, you'll have a great B-Party regardless of who had to plan it!!! The biggest thing to remember is to have FUN! FUN! FUN!

I'm in the same boat. I cried too long about it. Try not to let all this affect your excitement. I know that you probably feel that they don't care...believe me I do to...but they aren't going to make your day.
Close your eyes and think about walking down the aisle. That's what helps me. Nothing or no one will matter except you two during that day.
I wish I could change who I aske dto be in my party, but I can't now...too late...but I know that when their time comes, they'll realize how sucky they were....
