RP from BHB: DIY Business
I'm thinking about starting a business for diy projects (menus, programs, invites, place cards, envelope addressing, cry packs, bathroom baskets, oot bags/baskets, favors, candy buffets/cookie buffets, memory candles, sand ceremony/candle ceremony, table numbers, petal cones etc....pretty much everything). Do you think this is something that people will want to use? Do you think this is something you would have found helpful while planning your wedding? Thanks so much girls!

I think it depends on the bride. Personally, I am very crafty and have done alot of stuff myself. (I just finished my cupcake towers) However there are plenty of brides out there that like that personal touch that are not crafty.

agree. i also like "getting my hands dirty" in diy projects but that's only a percentage of people. You should definitely pursue your aspirations. There's a large population of people out there throwing all sorts of events. I say go for it!

Re: RP from BHB: DIY Business
i think you could totally make some money doing this. i know that personally i HATE doing this DIY stuff. i was all cranky about printing my e-party envelopes. i couldnt imagine myself making cry pack, or invitations or any of that stuff so if you have the TIME.... especially with planning your own wedding i say go for it and good luck!
