Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale- Anyone taking pics there?
I called and got an answering machine- but really wanna take pictures there. Anyone doing it and know if they charge you? Or even allow it?

its like a $50 fee if i remember correctly and i think you have to get a permit like a week before ...

Advance reservations and a permit are required to take wedding or similar type photos at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. The permit must be obtained prior to the day of the event. The fee is $50.00 plus vehicle entry fees. No parties without permits will be allowed to enter the park. Call the park at 631 581 1002 for more information

I took mine there - it was a last minute thing - we only had to pay for the vehicles ....it's so beautiful there!

There is definitely a fee - and then you pay per car - well worth it for the pics you get !! I am not married yet but we did the pics for my brothers wedding there !!bayard fees

Ask for Lillian when you call between the hours of 9-5, she is the assistant park director. And depending on what time you are going to be there, you can get a few munchies made at their cafe, really reasonable prices and it will help in delaying of your BP in getting intoxicated!!!!! The cafe is Hidden Oak Cafe, Danielle is the owner, the number is 277-3895. THe food is really great and she works with a lot of the brides that are having their pics there. No lie it's great food and worth it!!!

I think if you call ahead and have a permit Lillian (the park assistant manager) stays later and only the limos for your wedding are allowed in throught the mainenance enterance.
Oh and the Arb closes at 5 or 5:30 between Memorial Day and Labor day. And closes between 4 or 4:30 the rest of the year.

there is a site fee it was 50 i was going to go there but i went to the planting fields instead, but FH and i just took our daughter there on tuesday and it was cute lots of trails through the woods and some ponds

My best friend took her pics there...and it was beautiful....I think you need to book in advance...I THINK!! All I know is the limo guy handled the pass and they gave it to him prior to the wedding. But the pics came out great!!
