Ok, so FH and I are having a fourth of July party. Now on Monday FH asked her if she wanted to come she says yes. Yesterday FH tells me she's not coming. So, I freak out, I mean if you're not coming just tell me and be upfront! Don't say yes when you really mean no(she is notorious for doing this so that is why I get so upset)! I needed a head count for food because my dad is making ribs and i'm making hamburgers and hot dogs so I need a rough head count. So FH says well what's the difference if they come or not they are 5 people! That is a big difference! So I call my mom and I'm venting and she's like I wouldn't have bought all of the ribs if they weren't coming. So today FH just texted me now *** is coming! I'm speechless!
ETA It just sounds so stupid that I'm getting aggrivated but it's like no one speaks up and says anything! We have enough food but don't say yes and no and then yes again! it really gets me steamed

Don't let it ruin your weekend or your party, but I would just remember this for future reference because obviously she is not being very considerate. I know you will have a fabulous time anyway!!!

Honestly i dont think its a big deal, if she always does this then you know what to expect from her so dont take her word for it when she says shes coming or not. Just enjoy your holiday with FH and family and thats even more left overs for you.
