The whole thing is one big spurlge honestly. We are paying for it all so we haven't stuck to someone else's budget. Sometimes I ask myself if the $$$ is worth it.
Our menu is full of upgrades/our photog is top-notch. Those are things that stand out to me. Oh and we have a new limobus and new esclaade all day long.

I am still in the beginning stages of planning but I REALLY want that photo booth thing. That looks like a cute idea....

to be honest we're spending alot of money of everything. I keep trying to budget myself but then my mom is like...don't worry about it, just get it. So we keep adding and the expenses keep growing....my parents are helping with alot so we're able to splurge in other areas.

Its all been a splurge since we are paying for everything ourselves and everything i want, FH pretty much gives in too.

Everything was a huge splurge. Luckily, we have our parents paying for pretty much everything. I have to say the biggest splurge is the RH, then the honeymoon and my dress. All worth it!

We still have a lot of stuff left to plan… but the one thing we’ve been talking about is adding the “Platinum” package on at our RH. It’s an extra $20pp but I really want that giant seafood boat! 
ETA: I forgot the honeymoon too, FH has his heart set on Hawaii even though I know we really can't afford that.

LOL. So many things to choose from. Honestly, we are paying for most of it ourselves ... and trying to keep it around 20grand, so the one thing we really wanted to add was the Viennese hour ... Which the hall worked out a good price.
I really wanted a dress from Kleinfelds, and I lucked out and got it at their sample sale... which my mom bought me the dress as a gift. So honestly, haven't splurge on anything ... I thinking my splurge is going to be my wedding earrings lol

I thought I would splurge more on my dress, but what I wanted was at the low end of my budget.
We are splurging on photography and videography because that is really important to us. We also went with a well-regarded kosher caterer because his menus are fantastic, and evne though it was more money than other RHs, we were still able to negotiate it down a lot. Our main splurge though is the HM, because we both love to travel!

I agree with Kristina....FH and I are paying for 90% of the wedding....parents giving us a set amount but other then that we are on our own.
The only good thing about us paying for the wedding is that at the end of the day only our opinion REALLY counts!

While the entire wedding is a HUGE splurge I think our photographers and videographer were our biggest splurge. I feel like if we are going to spend sooo much on a wedding I want lots of pictures/video to remember it.
