Tall Girls: Bridal Shoes
I was wondering if anyone knows a good Bridal Shoe store that you've seen that has nice looking shoes with under a 2" heel. I REALLY don't want the shoe to look like a five year old girls shoe either. haha.... Honestly the price doesn't matter as long as it's nice.
Any good shops?

I want to know too...but remember girls that in your pics if you do that shot with the invitations, shoes, & your flowers u don't want ballet slippers. My sister did the same thing & she left the "prop" shoes at home now she hates that pic... lol

My FH is about 2 inches taller than me. What im thinking of doing is taking his shoes to a shoe repair shop and inserting something inside the sole. You can go to shoebuy.com and check some coloriffics or some nina shoes some are about 1 3/4 which is the heigt that im going to get.

I am 5'10" and have the same problem, but not because FH is short - he's seven inches taller than me  but I have to order low heels because they are ordering my dress in the LONGEST LENGTH the manufacturer will make it in and that was measured on me with 2 inch heels on, so thats the highest I can go with the dress...........

omgoodness I forgot about my hair...gr8. I wanted half up...great...so much for that idea. I'm 5'11", he's 5'10" on a good day & I asked him to wear lifts & he said it would feel awkward...welcome to my world buddy!

on a whim I ordered the target bridal shoes (the strappy sandals - they are 1 1/2 in)
They were super cheap ($15) and kinda cute. I ordered them as a back up if I can't find anything else decent under 2 inches.
I'm only 5'7, but FH is only 5'10 - and I got a tiara up and updo.

ohh i didnt think of how much hight the hair will add. I'm 5'6ish and fh is like 5'11, i guess that's 2 inch heals for me.

Yeah i'm 5'9 and he's about 6'1 but I don't want to be the same height as him that day. The idea of a lift in the FH's shoes sounds like a very good idea haha. If he's not into it...i might just have to sneakly do it without him knowing

I am 5'11'' when barefoot. We have this problem too. FH is maybe 6'1.5" or 6'2". I think we will just end up being the same height. Oh well. I guess we are like trhat every day - why would this one be different - hihi! Plus - i want big hair!!!

I am just going to wear flats on the day of. I am 5'10, FH is 5'8...so we're the odd couple. He has considered wearing lifts so that we are at least the same height. I will be buying an adorable pair of 4 inch heels in a smaller size (I am a size 10!) for the prop pictures.

me too - i got these fabulous gold valentinos [4.5 inches] (for a great deal) - i can wear them for a least an hour!

I am 5'10 as is FH I am going to get some lifts for him so there will not much of a difference in height. But the max heel I am wearing is 2 1/2inch

I actually got a pair of silver flats because my dress has silver thread in it. I picked them up at the Smithaven Mall. BUT, the place I got my kitten heels at, had some cute bridal flats. Casa di Mario, it's on Main Street in Patchogue. I dunno if that's too far for you.

Heres a trick that I use with FH (we actually used it in our epics) I am 5'7 and FH is 5'10-5'11 and when I put on a decent sized heel, we are about the same size or sometimes I am taller. FH has a pair of dress shoes that have a thicker sole which adds about another inch which helped out alot. Hey, every inch counts!

omgoodness...i'm a 10 too I never thought about getting a smaller size for the prop shoes...& you know white is gonna look bigger...omg thanx
