tipping the exterminator??
we just moved into our house a month ago only to find out that it is INFESTED with little teeny tiny ants (thank god they are not carpenter ants!!!)
anyways - we had an exterminator come over the weekend (which BTW - if anyone needs one in the suffolk/nassau area i can recommend our guy he's great!!!) so we bought a contract for $250 where he comes once a month from April-August. i paid in full when he came saturday & he said that he will most likey have to come back one more time before the next monthly treatment.
i tipped him $20 - is that standard?? i'm a new homeowner so i had no idea how much to tip him lol. in any case - he's coming back today so i want to make sure i'm not being cheap!!!

Hmmm, I don't know if I would have tipped the exterminator. We had an electrician come when we first moved into our home and I didn't tip him. Am I just ghetto?

He doesn't always get tips, but they are very, very appreciated when he does.
