Gift Registry

What places are you planning to register with for gifts? How much stuff do you think you will need?

Re: Gift Registry

As of now I'm thinking about:

Bed Bath & Beyond
Macy's
Target

FH and I will need everything since we don't live together now.

Re: Gift Registry

I am doing:

Williams Sonoma
Bloomingdales or Macys
Pottery Barn

Even though we live together and have a lot of stuff, I want all new stuff and nicer stuff. Like right now my plates are Ikea, which is fine but I would love some nice plates.

Re: Gift Registry

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond. We also orginally registered at Macy's, but had a hard time with them so we found similiar things at BBB and moved everything to the one registry.

Re: Gift Registry

I think I'm just doing Bed Bath and Beyond. We don't live together, but we mainly just need towels and bedding.

I work for a housewares company (for 4 years) and have enough dishes, kitchen gadgets, knives, and bakeware for about 3 kitchens-fh doesn't even know how much stuff i have

Re: Gift Registry

We're doing Fortunoffs and Bed Bath and Beyond. Target is now out of the running after a horrible customer service experience last week.

Edited to add we will need most things except for china, bedroom furniture and kitchen furniture.

Re: Gift Registry

Probably Macy's and BBB. Even though I've had my own place for a while, I'm registering for everything. I want to 'upgrade' what I have because I've pretty much cheaped out on everything the first time around.

Re: Gift Registry

We registered at BB&B and Williams Sonoma. We didn't register for a lot because we still live in the City and we ZERO space...a lof of our stuff will have to go into storage....in CONNECTICUT!!!!

If we already had a bigger place we would have registered at Pottery Barn but it's hard to shop for a house you don't have yet!
