Gotta love destination weddings.
08/08/08 is the civil ceremony then 08/13 is the ceremony on the beach.
Even better, one of DH's cousins (my wedding DJ !) and his family are coming down the week of the 10th. I'm going to so need a vacation from this one !
But I'm going to miss you all !

Regardless-we all know 60% will diick out at the last minute for the GTG-happens everytime-let me know when you pick an official date
It might-never know. We only had 5 drop for the last one in the city-still had about 15 girls. Depends on the time I think. fridays can be hard. we did Thursday so we werent really taking away from anyone's start on the weekend but hopefully lots will come on whatever date.
yep, 60% if not more will back out-something "better" always happens

Fridays can be hard for planning things, but we can only go by the votes. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the large turnout at our NYC GTG in April - I hope this one will be the same!

I know its hard to get everyone happy and available on one specific date, im sorry. And I know some people may want to have it on another day of the week.
But I figure it like this....if we all put so much effort into communicating on here and taking the time out to help each other,.......why not spend a couple hours on Friday hanging out and having some drinks....and the people who really wanna come will come....
.....your right Pega....im sure its much easier to bang out of something the last minute if you've never even met the people before and you have a choice of doing something with friends or DH that you already know-know, ya know what I mean?
But I figured w t f, im gonna put in the effort to organize cause theres so many of you that are worth at least trying to get together. And I think it'll be fun. And I figured 6 or 7 weeks in advance should be enough time for us to get our s h it together.

We need pictures. And some sunshine. Bottle it up. My sister in law just cam e back from Aruba and had a fabulous time. She said the weather is picture perfect.
