HM in St John / US Virgin Islands???

HELP - we are thinking of changing our HM last minute. does anyone have an all inclusive resort or good hotel to recommend (or even a condo / villa type place) in St. John, St. Thomas or another one of those USVI (or even BVI) to recommend? I know nothing about this and am starting from scratch (FI fell down on the job!).

I stayed at the Le Meriden Resort there, it was beautiful. They had their own private beach and the accomodations were 5 star. You have to take a boat over from St, Thomas to get there and the boat ride was spectacular. It is a beautiful island and I spent most of my days..on a float in the water and then diving off the platform that they had out in the bay area. LOL

Our original HM plans were to go to St. John. We found lots and lots of great information on

USVI on-line

There's island information, maps, hotel and villa reviews and a very active forum for questions and answers.

I was in the BVIs about 8 years ago-stayed at the Bitter End Yacht Club (on Virgin Gorda). If you sail, this is the place for you. It's an all inclusive, and you have use of most of the fleet of power boats, lasers, etc.

If/when I go back to the BVIs, I'd stay at Peter Island. Expensive, but beautiful.
