That's my 'hood! The Clarke Gardens in Albertson are gorgeous, there are some nice spots in Eisenhower Park, or the Old Westbury Gardens. The OWG are absolutely AMAZING. (That's where I'm getting my pictures taken ) BUT you have to pay. Check them out online. (type it into Google, I can't think of the site off hand. And if I think of any more I'll FM you.

If I were you, I'd go to Eisenhower park.. It's beautiful and no one will bother you...

Theres also a little gazebo that people use a lot for weddings near the fire house. Its behind the Garden City hotel.... right near Waterzooi. Y'know where that is?

I have no clue. I'm from jersey and don't know much about the area. Is it a park or just a gazebo?

Eisenhower is probably going to be the best for you. It's 5 minutes away from there.

Re: Any recommendations for parks near the Chateau Briand?
We took our pix at Old Westbury Gardens, the place is awesome. Here is the link Old Westbury Gardens
You do have to pay a fee, the fee is dependent on what time and how many people/cars you have coming in to the garden. I spoke with a Gennifer Fugina there, so sweet.
Here is the link to get a reservation form Reservation form for Old Westbury Gardens Wedding Photography
It tells you time and prices and rules etc
Happy planning
