Anyone ever been to Curacao?
Anyone ever been to Curacao? Would you recommend it as a honeymoon destination?
The pictures look beautiful, but I have never met anyone who has been there...

I have been to all of the ABC islands, Aruba,BonAire and Curacao 2X, It is a beautiful place, great if you want to kick back and relax on the beach, scuba, my FH loves to rent a boat and fish, go to casinos, but not real big on nightlife. There is the world largest floating bridge ( very cool ) we stayed at a hotel just outside of the main city, and would walk into town and visit all the little shops and restaurant, there aresome really cute shops and whatnot. Its definately one of my favorite places to go.

That's what we are looking for, relaxation...
We are looking at the Sandals (actually, I think it's Breezes) resort, and when I called Liberty Travel last night, to them, everywhere and anywhere you pay for is great. I have a fish phobia, but that is one of the things I hope to overcome on my honeymoon. I am trying to get up the courage to go snorkeling without hyperventilating before I get in the water... And I am looking forward to a place with casinos, and the hotel we looked at has a few.
Which of the Islands did you find he nicest? What was the name of teh hotel you stayed in?

Just to say I LOVE Aruba. I have never been to Curacao but I am sure it's gorgeous since it's very close to Aruba

I still have plenty of time, but I am trying to narrow down a few places. I haven'nt looked at Aruba yet, but I will definately keep it in mind! I see quite a few people are going there, so I guess it must be beautiful! Thanks Jenn~!

I dont recall the name in Curacao or Bon Aire, but i stayed at the Divi Divi Aruba Beach Resort, and i loved it ! Its hard to go wrong down there, if your looking for a place to lay on the beach and do nothing at all, any of them are great. Aruba is the most developed of the 3, Curacao is in the middle and Bon Aire is the least developed .
