I bought open toe but I wanted to wear the whole thigh high corset thing under my dress but stockings with open toes is a no no, they were talking about toeless on the main board, I just dont know now, maybe I should buy new shoes??

I also want to do the undergarment thigh high thing! I don't think open toe will do it with stockings... the more I think about it the more I am now leaning towards closed toe.

LOL! I am the one who started that thread on the BHB board. That is my dilema. I looked for shoes for like 2 months. I started looking for closed toes and I came home with open toed strappy sandals. The woman in the bridal boutique told me to get open toed pantyhose but I want to wear thigh highs so I figured I would search for very sheer open toed beige or white thigh highs but cant find them anywhere! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO EITHER! Getting new shoes seems like the easiest solution but I have my first fitting in a few weeks and if I can't find shoes

same dilema here. I do want the thigh-high get-up too so I think im going with closed toe, Have you tried to look for the open toe thigh high? I wonder if it even exists.
I don't know, I think the open toe pantyhose thing may be weird for me.

well .. I am wearing sandals and no stockings ... I guess that is the way is going to be for me. I did not find any closed toe shoe that I liked.

open toes. I think i'm not going to wear any pantyhose. if i do the toeless ones.
i know bloomies sells them and the price isn't that bad.

Bride08 those kinda look like my shoes, did you try on the toeless with them?? i thought since mine are so strappy it might not work but I am so upset about the thigh high corset get up, guess I could just save that part of the outfit for after the wedding, might not be the most comfortable anyway

I was going to get open-toe but fell in love with a pair of closed-toe sling backs. They're not even white! They are a soft silvery color (my dress has silver thread embroidery). My MOH got the the exact same pair

No I havent tried on the open toed hose yet. Ive been SEARCHING for open toe thigh-high but havent been able to find them. Hopefully the open toe hose will work. If not, Ill just skip the hose or get new shoes

I wanted to do the whole get up too but I figured I would save all that for afterwards, I want to be COMFORTABLE being that it is going to be a long day. Nothing like wearing something that is so uncomfortable it drives me mad

I am doing closed toe. I really wanted open, and most likely my shoe will never show, but I saw pictures from a wedding my mother went to, and in a few of the shots, you could see the brides feet (whether she was dancing or walking down stairs) and I just didn't think open would look right if they ever did show. So I went with closed.

I think I will have both

My "wedding" shoes are closed to ballroom dance shoes. I am wearing thigh highs with them. The photos are being taken on the beach, and I won't wear stockings for that, or my good shoes, so I am looking for open toe 3" sandals

Is that crazy?

you can do open toe w/stockings as long as you get the sandalfoot style - i use them all summer long, and u don't see them at all!

I just bought my shoes yesterday. I happen to prefer closed-toe because I feel that they are classier. Just my opinion
